Such a mix of stories in this collection, all mostly focused around women's bodies, their ownership, and desire. They were quite surreal at times, but the writing is  lovely and visceral, and really puts you into the headspaces of the main characters - which oftentimes was an unsettling experience. Will definitely be picking up other things by Machado in the future
