Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh
5.0

Two sisters each called 911 to report the murder of their father. Both were in the house when it happened, and they're accusing each other. Defence lawyer Eddie Flynn is representing one of the sisters in their trial, but who is really the killer?

I've always enjoyed courtroom dramas and legal thrillers and this is one of the best I've read! Eddie is such a likeable and nuanced character, and I'm very tempted to read Steve Cavanagh's other Eddie Flynn novels. The other characters are also really well written and fleshed out.

I also loved the chapters from the perspective of the unidentified killer, and the way the book keeps you guessing the whole way through is so gripping.

Five stars!
