So riddled with YA fantasy cliches and so dependent on genre tropes that it read like it had been written by AI. Not technically bad, but so empty of original content that it just passed cleanly through my mind without leaving anything behind. And took far too long a time to do so.

If I really concentrate I think it went: Chosen One, Cursed Object, Not Like Other Girls, Chase Scene, Magic Battle, Chase Scene, Magic Battle, Love Triangle Set-Up.
