The first half was rlly good then it started to lose its shine, becoming quite repetitive. I had to put it down for a whole month before I forced myself to pick it back up. Still enjoyed it but wasn’t perfect.

I think the author tried to give off that soul shattering earth melting world tilting kinda soulmatery and in a sense it worked but marginally since I disconnected halfway. It just felt a little forced. At the start it was playing out like it was gna be some epic mate typa love but it was a bit average and didn’t rlly deliver what I was expecting. It was too obscure for my liking.

Not to say I didn’t like the characters, I did but I just couldn’t connect as deeply with their “soulmatery” as I would have preferred.
