You’ll never look at Peter Pan the same again! I’ve heard of some of the darkness associated with the original story but this paints it all very clearly.
Reminiscent of “Return to Oz,” Wendy is accused of lying when she tells of her adventures. From there, we learn of a life full of gaslighting, abuse, and fear that Wendy endures.
This book shows just how brave and what a heroine Wendy is. I love how attentive and empathetic she is.
I really enjoyed this book.
