You know.. I quite enjoyed this.
Phoebe is such a unique character who is a bit socially awkward and obsessed with true crime. Sam, the hunky next door neighbor, is truly a gem with a heart of gold. Watching these two interact and grow closer to one another was just so cute! I liked that he never pressured Phoebe but allowed her to progress into their romance at her own pace.
I enjoyed how this story also features complex familial dynamics and repairing childhood friendships. Not to mention a stray cat finding a forever home?? I mean.. tug on my heart strings why don't you!
If you are a true crime fanatic or a sucker for the man-next-door romances, I highly suggest checking this one out!
