His & Hers by Alice Feeney
4.0

I rated His & Hers by Alice Feeney 4 stars. I read this book as a Buddy Read with my BookTok friend, Bethany. The book kept me on my toes and constantly trying to guess who the murderer was. I kept changing my prediction of who the murderer was all throughout the story as more was revealed. First, I had no idea and thought it could be literally anyone from Jack to Anna to Priya to someone we hadn’t met yet;.
At one point, I thought it could be Jack as he just gave off sneaky vibes to me. At another point, I thought it was Anna as the story kept mentioning her drinking and her not remembering things. Then, I thought it was Catherine, where her motive was getting back at her tormentors years later. Then, I thought it was Priya, as the story kept mentioning her, yet she seemed so irrelevant to the overall story. Then, I once again thought it was Anna, up until it was revealed it was actually her mom! Even though I did not see it being her mom at all, and this twist did leave my jaw on the floor, this twist ending left me feeling unsatisfied for some reason, as it just seemed so random.
Overall, this was fun to read as a buddy read and I would imagine it’d be fun for a bookclub read as well. I would recommend to those who like thrillers.
