The Tourist Attraction
by Sarah Morgenthaler
An Alaskan town named Moose Springs, an adorable blind dog, a moose in love with a truck and a sexy albeit surly diner owner who despises tourists until the day one walks in that he just can’t seem to get out of his mind.
This was a sweet and hilarious romcom! I binged it in a few hours yesterday. I love a book set in Alaska - it’s on my bucket list of places I want to see just like the main character in this book, Zoey. I loved how awe struck she was by everything she saw and experienced, even when things seemed to go horribly wrong at every turn. She had such a great personality. Her bright, bubbly affect was infectious. So much so that even the grumpy owner of the The Tourist Trap diner who hates tourists wasn’t immune.
Zoey & Graham were so much fun, I had a smile on my face pretty much the entire time I read this book. They had so many laugh out loud moments from a stint in a holding cell thanks to a chainsaw and a kick in the balls to puke and a near death experience. Plus, Graham has the cutest blind dog and a moose that’s in love with his truck. All this plus a nice simmering angst that kept me happily turning the pages. How can you resist?
I’m so excited for book 2! I loved Graham, Zoey, Jake (the dog), Ulysses (the moose) and all the townsfolk of Moose Springs. I can’t wait to visit with them again!
