This book's description claims it would appeal to [b:Seraphina|19549841|Seraphina (Seraphina, #1)|Rachel Hartman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1387577872l/19549841._SY75_.jpg|17375239] fans but that doesn't go beyond the fact that the protagonist is half-dragon. I was excited by this book when I read the description, but when I started reading it I felt like it fell flat. Still I wanted to see how it would play out and held out hope that it would get better, which is didn't. About halfway through this book really lost me, I ended up skimming through the last few chapters and I was left generally unsatisfied with the whole thing.
