xennicole 's review for:
The Determined Heart: The Tale of Mary Shelley and Her Frankenstein
by Antoinette May
ARC via Lake Union Publishing/Netgalley
Well researched. May was able to keep me interested and I read this pretty quickly. The only downfall, is that a small portion was about the creation of her novel "Frankenstein," I was hoping for a bit more. Showed the lives of Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin Shelley and Percy Bysshe Shelley in a honest, well-rounded way with their ups but mostly struggles they endured.
Recommend.
Author does list all the sources she used at the end.
