After unexpectedly inheriting an outdoor recreation and tour business, Raven decides to try out running the place for the summer before choosing if she wants to sell or stay. Her presence is very much resented by the staff, especially Silas Reynolds who was planning to buy the place from her. The two butt heads immediately, but will opposites attract?

Let me start off saying that Raven was EVERYTHING! She’s definitely my favorite character of the series, and definitely one of my fave characters of the year! She was so adorable! And of course Mimi Grace is always going to give us great writing that’s so lighthearted and fun!

But, sadly this was my least favorite installment of the series. I thought if anyone could make me like the enemies to lovers trope it’d be Mimi Grace, but it just didn’t work for me. I don’t appreciate how rude Silas was to Raven. I completely understand his frustration, but I don’t believe in taking it out on Raven who didn’t deserve it. There was another member of the staff who was incredibly mean to Raven as well and that really dampened my enjoyment. Silas was not a main character that I enjoyed. I felt that he was lacking personality. I wasn’t convinced that Raven & Silas had feelings for each other. They were definitely attracted to each other, but I don’t think they actually liked each other’s personalities. It felt like more lust, than actually enjoying each other.

I’d recommend this book to someone who is looking for a slow burn, enemies to lovers romance! I think it’ll work a lot better for other people who usually enjoy those tropes!

P.S I’m very excited for Mimi’s new spin off series coming soon!👀

Huge thank you to Mimi Grace for this arc! All opinions are my own.
