dapperreads 's review for:
A Bitter Remedy
by Alis Hawkins
This was considerably longer than it needed to be. There was so much that felt extra in this book that it took away from the story for me. The premise is stellar and if it had contained less fluff I think it would have been considerably more enjoyable- for me at least.
The narration was great and I have no complaints there. The dual narrators really brought the story to life (even if it was too long for my liking). The voices fit the characters and that was enjoyable.
