Wicked Souls
by Misty Evans
Have I mentioned, I love this series of novellas? Because I do. Amy Atwood is a magnet for paranormal trouble. The devil has had her soul for years, the angel Gabriel hates her for thwarting his plan to become God, and it's a pain in the rear not to use magic. As her six month magic free celebration approaches, she's attacked my Gabriel, who is convinced that she put a spell on him. Obviously not, as she's not been using magic, but he steals half her soul anyway. And begins messing with her free will, causing all kinds of problems in her life - especially her love life. Can Amy figure out step three of Witches Anonymous and get her soul (and free will) back without using magic or screwing things up even worse with her boyfriend? You'll have to read it to find out!
These novellas take all of my preconceived notions about short stories or novellas and just throw them to the wind. Especially as I get further into the series, the characters are well developed (I adore Amy!), the plots are fairly quick and fast paced, but they're not repetitive, nor do they leave you completely hanging. I'm so excited to keep reading these!
