This is the first piece of creative work I’ve consumed related to COVID. The themes are universal but the details and nuance in many of these pieces tie directly to the pandemic. Gill has a unique way of saying things that we may know in our hearts but have heard in cliche ways so many times that we forget to really pause and think what it means. She breathes new life into those sentiments. Also the artwork in this book is beautiful and soothing.
