I didn't enjoy this as much as the first book. While I could not put Scythe away, in Thunderhead I had a few chapters where I didn't really feel like continuing. A lot of things happen, plottwists after plottwists, and normally I like that, but at some point it felt too much. So many things were happening for so long.

But then the ending. Holy shit! I did NOT see that one coming. Wow.

I really enjoyed the characters - except for Goddard. Hated him. Obviously. I did not like that he came back from the dead.

My favorite part of this book was reading from the Thunderhead's perspective. I hope that we will get more of that in the third book!
