This short story anthology is like the perfect holiday party snack mix: a little bit salty, a little bit sweet, and a whole lot of delicious. Stephanie Perkins has edited a marvelous collection with not a clunker in sight. Highly recommended for a cute stocking stuffer for your favorite reader. This book is the total package, from the cover, to the illustrations inside, to the wonderful writing.

My personal favorite stories were: Midnights by Rainbow Rowell (how she can just fill the few pages of her story with such details is amazing), It's A Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown by Stephanie Perkins, Your Temporary Santa by David Levithan, Beer Buckets and Baby Jesus by Myra McEntire (a new author to me), and The Girl Who Woke the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (so dark and dreamy and wonderful).
