Into the Tide was a sexy brother’s best friend romance. I enjoyed the buildup between Hugh and Lila and the forced proximity trope worked really well in the story. I’m not a big fan of the player hero/virgin heroine tropes, but Hugh and Lila won me over. It was so good! There are some serious topics discussed in the book (make sure to check the trigger warnings), but there were lots of laughs to balance it out. The text messages between the Reynolds siblings were especially hilarious! I fell in love with the entire Reynolds family and I’m excited for Georgia’s story next! This was such a good start to a brand new series.
