The adventure part of this book was good, we didn't stay in one place for the entire 300 pages. Instead we got to go along with Gabriela to different places around the world to solve the mystery of the Seal of Solomon and got a history lesson along the way.
But while the adventure was good, I was not a fan of anything else. To me the dialog was too "young and hip" for me. This is a middle aged woman writing about a 30 year old woman and the "sexy's" "omigods" and "hotties" were just too much. Not to mention all the name dropping of all the designer clothes and fancy cars and jewlery this woman had. I did not need to know that the main character was wearing a $400 bra that she was sacrificing as a tourniquet for someone who was shot. It was unnecessary. I wanted a simple book about a Tomb Raider style adventure and not a bunch of hip lingo or names of designer clothing just to signify how rich this character was.
