All These Bodies by Kendare Blake
4.0

1958- Gruesome killings-known as the bloodless murders
-have plagued the Midwest US. The bodies found are
completely drained of blood without hardly any blood
found at the scene. Marie Catherine Hale- a fifteen year
old female- is found at the scene of the most recent
murder, drenched in blood. The only person she'll tell her
story to is Michael, our main character.

I really enjoyed this book. The town setting/police station
gave me old timey Andy Griffith vibes. The mystery of
Marie Catherine Hale and how she was involved with the
killings kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the mix
of true crime and folklore.

This was a super quick read, and while I do wish we
received more answers at the end. I didn't mind the
openish ending.
