Once upon a time, I worked at a daycare. There was a little girl in my group named Corinne and while today she would probably be about eighteen, I'm imagining her at eleven-years-old as this Corinne. She was one of my favorites in the group and picturing her as the badass, kind, and mostly selfless girl in this book makes me smile.

And of course, in case it isn't obvious, I devoured this book because it's amazing!!!
