I really wanted to like this, as it had so much potential (who doesn't like a fake dating trope?!) but I just felt like it was so boring and bland and dragged on. I really don't even feel like there was chemistry between these two. There were a few cute moments between them, but there was never a spark, in my opinion.

Also, a few "jokes" were made that did not sit kindly with me. Jokes about the Middle East? Jokes about sexual assault and date rape? Like really? Was that necessary? It absolutely was not.

I can't say I saw in this what other reviewers did, and I don't really recommend it. I'll also be skipping the sequel.
