I think this book slayed so hard. The characters were imperfect, but you can see them wanting to be their best selves and actually taking actions to improve. Kaia is very relatable to me. I think the author did a great job portraying the struggles she had and the coping mechanisms she used in a very realistic way. I think Holden’s character was very well written too. I just have less to say about him.

Overall, I loved the book and I love their relationship. I am rooting for them.
