This book just filled my heart with joy. Well written, totally engaging and a delightful cast of main and secondary characters. Including an Orc who likes the simple things in life, a shy kitchen boy with a terrible secret and dragons filled with personality. Dave is such a pure soul who learns that Simon shares his love of dragons. So begins a beautiful romance that causes an abundance of blushes, small shy smiles and lots of warm feelings but no “squishy” stuff. There are no heat filled scenes and they aren’t needed when the occasional kiss on a cheek and holding hands means so much.
A rescue mission, silly conversations that had me laughing and a couple of scenes that made my eyes leak all added to this wonderful read.
