Breathe by Abbi Glines
4.0

This book was really cute. I think this would be a really good, fun beachy read. It is super fast paced and has a sweet romance. I thought that Sadie was a bit naive, but very likable. I would have liked her to be a little less innocent about her looks if she is as pretty as she was described to be, but I can understand why she was that way. Her mother never gave her any attention.

I loved Jax. He seemed so genuine and down to earth, and also a bit cheesy. But it was soo cute on him! I also couldn't help but feel bad for Marcus. A spin off featuring him would be such an AWESOME book!! I can totally see him being a great main character and there is so much left undiscovered for him. I would love to read more about him, and see him get a happy ending like Sadie did.

The story in this book is so sweet and its funny, because even though the romance was meant to take center stage, I found myself so drawn to the family like dynamic that had formed around Sadie. I loved seeing all those people care about her and I enjoyed reading about her interactions with each of them.

But lets not forget about the romance. Breathe was such a sweet story about two genuinely nice people. I was so happy and satisfied with how everything turned out. This book just made me smile. And that is always nice to read something that just makes you plain happy.

A few of the cheesy moments between Jax and Sadie are the only reason I am not giving this book a 5/5. I really loved the story and thoroughly enjoyed Breathe. I can't wait to see what else Abbi Glines has in store for us!
