Oof. I almost didn't finish this one, but I listened to most of it while I was working, and it was short (5-ish hours, and I listened on 2x speed).

I really should have read this one before Talia Hibbert's other books, because I can definitely tell it's one of her earlier books. I thought the dialogue between the characters was clunky, neither of them had much personality (and what they did have tended to change drastically scene to scene), there wasn't much plot, there was a LOT of assuming going on from both parties (and a lot of jumping to ridiculous conclusions), and none of what happened was particularly interesting. I also didn't like the narrator, which never helps.

Overall, I was not impressed and I'm having a hard time finding anything I liked about this book. Except that it ended.
