I liked the overall story and the fresh take that we got on Cinderella. Cinder being a cyborg was something I couldn’t have imagined and I liked learning about her past as well as the history of her county. Like everyone knows you can’t have a Cinderella story without her wicked stepmother and stepsisters and we certainly got them. I was pleasantly surprised and a bit heartbroken by the twist that Marissa Meyer had in there.

The book mainly focused on Cinder discovering who she is, wanting a better life for herself, and of course falling in love along the way.

I ended giving it 3.5/5 stars.
