It was fun, the story doesn't really pick up until 3/4 of the way through. Some of the character were really wodden, and the ending was FINE but it was simultaneously rushed and dragged out. Like you're telling me she's getting buddy-buddy with her captors who less than an hour ago were debating if they were going to kill her? That whole emotional turmoil, the natural distrust is just, poof brushed over, but we have time to sit and talk about what she had for dinner? . And I'm sorry, I know other people have said it but naming your main character Faythe (pronounced like Faith) and having her face off against the Fae is just lazy.
Don't get me wrong, I liked it, I will be picking up the next book. I've been told the author's writing improves with each book, so I'm willing to give her that chance.
