Stepbrothers' Darling by K.A. Knight
4.0

Holy sh!t, you guys. I'd been having MAJOR grabby hands in the few days prior to this dropping into my Kindle library, because loving taboo romance PLUS reverse harem?! Grab me a fainting couch 'cause I'm gonna swoon! And, I have to tell you, this book knocked my socks off. I fell in love with Blair from page 1, and ANY book with a prologue THAT HOT is my kind of book! GET IT GIRL! The Crew brothers all had distinct and clear voices, and Knight did well at keeping the number of cast characters we needed to worry about down so there weren't a whole lot of distractions drawing our attention away from the story (which was a HUGE issue in DoV, IMO). I LOVED giving Blair a job as a burlesque dancer and the way she owned her femininity and sexuality. It was nice to see some bi representation in a RH female protagonist! BRAVO! That should happen way more often! And Faye was adorable and supportive. Smol but fierce. Anyway, I just tore right through this thing. And it was the perfect length, too! Cons: "Blood in, blood out." - Not only is that line from a popular RH series (C.M. Stunich's The HAVOC Boys series), but it's said nearly as much in this book as it's said in that series! And... I'll keep saying it: You REALLY do need more prep for backdoor than they do in the vast majority of these books. I gave it 4/5⭐️ anyway, because it was one of the best RH standalone books I've read that was released this year!
