I really appreciated what the characters and themes this book tried to tackle but frankly it just fell short for me. I think some of the messages shed an extremely narrow and negative perspective on disability. The story felt quite stale in some areas yet I do really like Lou’s evolution in the book. Especially how Will encourages her to live her OWN life-not one meant for other people.
