Near to the Wild Heart
by Clarice Lispector
hm. I would not say I enjoyed this as much as I found it fascinating- it felt almost too abstract to glean meaning from. some interesting thoughts about the present being lived in the past, memory and forming identity but was not pulled in by the story or writing at any point. maybe women are mysteries, but also maybe everyone is and we all process it differently and this book has such a feminine mystique vibe.
