The Radical Element is a collection of stories focused on young women of the past and I found myself enjoying all of the stories in this anthology. I typically find it difficult to get into short stories mostly because there isn’t enough story to get invested in the characters, but I didn’t have that problem with this one and while there were some stories I liked more than others, on the whole, I found this group of stories to be engaging, well-written, and interesting.
