A reread 10 years later!
While this is an incredible work of fiction, I thought I'd enjoy reading it much more than I did.
Instead, I found myself getting impatient with the story from time to time. I suspect that's more to do with my current state of mind than anything else…sometimes I found it hard to concentrate, or I wanted the story to move along more quickly.
Overall, I'm a fan of the writing, the world Atwood constructed, and the atmosphere she evoked throughout the book. It’s a story that is timeless and really makes you think.
And I am so much more excited about The Testaments now!
