I haven't met a MMC that C.W. Farnsworth writes that I don't love. Green flags, green flags everywhere.
What this book doesn't have: Second act break up, miscommunication, alpha-hole men. It was an overall pleasure to read, like every book I've read from her.
I loved it. I don't like angst in a book. Some people liked to be wrecked and put back together when they read a book. I DON'T. This book delivered in nothing but healthy relationships. Of course the two stumbled and it actually was a bit of a slow-burn after the initial hook up. Banter was solid. Refreshing sip of water seeing Aiden acknowledge he had feelings for Rylan and want to tell her so badly he couldn't wait for her to wake up. I like that. Going to see her before the championship for comfort and not sex. Solid.
After loving Hart and Phillips, I'm excited to see more Holt Hockey. I'm not overly interested in Morgan, but I'm excited nonetheless. Farnsworth will pull me in.
