The Soldati Prince
by Charlie Cochet
I enjoyed this take of the paranormal genre with a human being unexpectedly thrust into a magical realm.
The sweet but snarky, fiesty but tough Riley is thrown into a world of demons and shifters after working his shift at a coffee shop. Khalon, the Soldati King tiger shifter is surly that his mate is but a mere human. This causes lots of bickering and bantering between the two. On a perilous journey through the realm they their mutual attraction aside and slowly become friends.
The world building is good, the cast of characters are likeable and interesting and there’s action aplenty. Not to mention a few moments of “feels”.
A good, quick enjoyable read and I look forward to more in the series.
