All Fired Up
by M.K. England
All Fired Up had the makings of a fun, fiery ride, but for me, it landed somewhere in the middle. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. It was just okay.
The premise had promise, and there were moments of chemistry between the main characters, but I found myself more intrigued by the side character Skylar than the central duo. Skylar had a spark and presence that stood out, sometimes overshadowing the leads. While the story moved along at a decent pace and had some entertaining moments, I never fully connected with the emotional depth or stakes of the romance.
If you’re looking for a light read with some magical touches and a standout sidekick, this might be worth picking up. But if you’re hoping for a romance that sweeps you off your feet, this one might fall a bit short.
Thank you to Net Galley for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
