One Last Stop
by Casey McQuiston
August, Jane, and their friends will stay with me for a long while...
I fell in love with every character, wanted to know every subplot, and couldn't wait to cheer everyone in the story on when they got their happy endings! These characters feel like my friends; they have the same quirks, queerness, nerdy tendencies, and magick! And I can't not mention the banter.
I have new expectations for five star books thanks to One Last Stop. The writing is phenomenal - the plot makes sense, the subplots fit well together, the characters are loveable and their growth heartwarming (Myla is my fave), and not a single piece of any character's story was left open or unanswered.
