Finlay Donovan seems to have hit a low in her life. Her husband left her for their real estate agent, they're trying to take full custody of their kids, she's hit a wall with her new book and her agent is not happy with her lack of progress, and she's been mistaken for an assassin. As confused as Finlay initially is, getting this hit would solve all of her money problems and would give her the ability to provide for her kids. Things go wrong when the hit doesn't turn out the way she expects. She and her nanny/partner, Vero, somehow get tangled up in Russian Mob activities and life escalates from there. Now they're on the hunt to solve crime while being on the edge of right from wrong themselves. Comedic, adventurous, and ballsy... This book was not a quick read but it was an enjoyable ride.
