I might have to consider buying this but I'll read the rest of the series before I decide.

This book was amazing! I feel like it's been really long since I read a good fantasy book and this is it.
It's not too much fantasy, mostly it's about an Empire and a rebels and intrigue and spying and some ancient assholes who never give straight answers but give you the vibe that they know a shit ton more than they're saying.

I really loved the characters here and I loved to read about them and their development throughout the story and somehow I fell in love with a lot of them.

However, I did not fall in love that both of the MC's have multiple love interests... I could rant about that but I don't really feel like it right now. But even that isn't enough to make me bump this down to 4 stars. It's a 5 star book.
