Transcendental
by Persephone Autumn
transcendental follows fletcher and madeline, two people who are going through the lows of life and wind up at the same retreat. fletcher is a singer songwriter who has lost his muse and really has no inspiration. madeline is grieving the unexpected death of her husband. they spend two weeks together at this retreat and come to rely heavily on each other. when madeline leaves early on the final day without saying goodbye fletcher vows to himself that he will find her. they reunite a year later and can't help but fall back into their close relationship.
transcendental is the kind of book that is a once in a lifetime read for me. i picked it up at the exact right time in my life and couldn't help but fall for fletcher and madeline's story. persephone autumn writes about grief in such a real, honest way that it makes you feel less alone in your own grief. these characters were meant to be and quite honestly if soulmates exist they are it!! this was a hard read but so rewarding and i can't wait to read more from this author in the future!!
the narrators really brought this story to life and i'm so glad i received an ALC from Forever and Always PR
