This was really fun! The premise is silly and it reads very naturally as online chats. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I found it through the Books Unbound podcast recommended by Raeleen. I’m reading another of her recent reads next. 

I thought the main plot was well done and the escalation was well timed and kept the light tone throughout.

Not entirely sure how he got back out of slack at the end though? They got slackbot into Gerald with the spreadsheet but didn’t really say (I think???) how he got out. 

Gerald was wayyyyyyy too okay with Pradeep sleeping with his body while slackbot controlled it??? That’s really strange and the consent ethics are all over the place. And that led to Gerald confessing feelings? Idk I don’t think we needed them to actually sleep together until once Gerald was back in his body. The final conversation was a bit strange bc why would they speak so frankly about having sex on slack where it’s been mentioned the bosses can read what you say? Would have fathered it have been a convo btw Pradeep/gerald and someone else to give the same info but after it happened. 

The romance with Beverly and Tripp. Didn’t care for. Couldn’t parse their nonsense emoji speak and also I don’t even use slack so when they started doing the emojis with only some of the letters I wasn’t sure if something would appear for if that partiality was the joke, ah well lol 

Robb’s story is hilarious through and through.

10/10 read for a fun time
