I really liked this book. It was a fast, interesting and captivating read.
Norah is an amazing character. I loved being in her thoughts ; they were often extremely relatable. I love her relationship with her mother, who’s also kinda her best-friend. In the books I read, there is not always a good mother/daughter relationship: it’s always filled with drama, "I hate you but I love you" kind of thing. In this book, it was a real pleasure to read. It wasn’t over-dramatic. It was perfect in my opinion and I loved it.
I loved how the plot develops itself, how things happened and turned Norah’s world upside down.
Some moments were funny, really cute, but they were some really heartbreaking moments too, especially when Norah was confronted to her own limits. In my opinion, the writing was amazing and allowed me to feel every little nuance of Norah’s feelings.
The end was what surprised me the most: I did not expected this at all, but in all honesty, I kinda liked it. Compared to the rest of the book, it was pretty different, but the way it was written was literally breathtaking for me.
Overall, it was a solid read. I liked the representation, and I feel like the author did a good job in showing what it’s like to live with these types of mental illnesses every day. I also really enjoyed seeing how everything was coming together.
