This is the 3rd installment of the Amish Candy store series by Amanda Flower. I have read the other two books and am enjoying this series.

Bailey King is preparing for Christmas while now living in the town of Harvest, Ohio with her Amish grandmother and cousin. Bailey decided to move full time to help out her grandmother after the death of her grandfather. The town is in full Christmas spirit with the annual Christmas Market starting. Unfortunately, a surprise from her ex-boyfriend, Eric, throws her off balance, when he announces that he wants to film a Christmas special of his TV show in her Swissmen Sweets Candy Store. Not only do the Amish have a problem with the production but so does the local deputy, Aiden, who has his own feelings about Bailey.

The death of one of the show's executive producer, Rocky, throws another curveball at this quiet little town. While Bailey is not considered a suspect (thank god!) in this book, her ex-boyfriend, Eric, is the number one suspect as Bailey found him standing over the body. Eric proclaims his innocence and pleads with Bailey to investigate the murder to find the true killer.

I love the character detail in this book from Bailey, to her best friend Cass, her grandmother, Aiden, Josie, and who could forget the pet pig. I think cozy mystery lovers will soon love to be engrossed in this series to see how Bailey continues to remain "English" in a quaint Amish town.
