I don't know if it was the teacher, or the class, or the fact that I'm older, but I enjoyed Great Expectations so much better this time than I did my freshman year of high school. Enough that I actually read the whole thing this time. The characters felt like real people, and the plot wasn't too out of the ordinary. Overall, a really great book.
