It was a solid romance book overall, and I was close to giving it 4 stars, but I genuinely felt like the pages after Howl wrapped up were unnecessary and tedious. I legit kept thinking “Oh, now it’s done”…and then there’d be more. It honestly detracted enough from my enjoyment of a satisfying conclusion that I had to ultimately rate it a 3. (Still wish this site would allow half stars cuz my heart truly rates this a 3.5 instead.) Maybe I just rely too much on what I consider a satisfying ending, but well it’s my review so there you have it! Still a definitely fun read that’s worth a try for anyone who loves romance and the tried and true enemies to lovers trope!
