Davis' books always send me through an emotional ringer, and this was no different. I can not believe the amount of evil in Abby's father. In fact, I can't even believe how evil Kaiden's father is either. The majority of the "elite" is corrupted and foul.

Abby has to deal with all sorts of betrayal in this volume of the series. She's blindsided on more than one occasion and I'm not sure how she's even functioning at this point. I, for one, can't wait to see her father go down hard. I don't think I've ever hated a literary villain as much as I hate him, and that's including Umbridge from Harry Potter!

I haven't trusted Charlie since the first book, but he's shown his true colors finally, and I'm hoping he will end up getting justice as well. I'm glad that Abby still has the "new elite" on her side and I'm glad that her friendship with Xavier hasn't suffered too much.

The Queen of Cliffhangers has done it again, and by the end of the book I was gasping for air. I can not WAIT for book three! I need to know if Abby follows through with everything. I have to know what her new plan is and I want to ascertain that Kai is ok!

I was super excited and surprised to see some Kennedys in this book! How awesome of a crossover that was! I know fans of the author will be pleased. And if you are a fan, you'll want to get started on this series right away! I'd also recommend this book for fans of the "bully romance" genre or for anyone who enjoys New Adult angsty romance stories.
