Liv was the teenage star of a TV show called Girl on the Verge, and caught feelings for her best friend/costar Ransom. After taking a step back from their friendship, the two are brought together again when the show shoots a 20 year reunion special. Falling back into old rhythms of their friendship feels good, but Liv has to decide what she really needs from both the show and her relationship with Ransom to get her own happy ending.

This was a fun and fast read that I enjoyed! I liked that each new chapter started with some sort of tabloid article, I felt like it really added to the drama and how hyped up the fictional TV show was. The beginning of the book mentioned Liv going through some really hard times but never really fully unpacked what those were and I was a bit disappointed by that. Overall this was a fun and sweet read! 3.5 stars rounded up.
