I’m still utilizing the online exams that this book comes with codes for (a big bonus) and I sit for the GRE on Thursday - so we have yet to see if I’ve truly “cracked it.” Generally speaking I think this was a good prep book, but it definitely tries to give you a tip for every single type of question that could ever possibly occur. I think a student with less study experience might spend so much time memorizing the tips they don’t actually work on the substance or practice - Or maybe if I had several weeks of consecutive full time dedicated studying (like for the Bar Exam) it would be useful. Abundant tips aside, amusingly it assumes users remember a lot of math basics from high school (more than I did anyway). Using this as a study guide has definitely helped me organize prepping for this exam in the middle of a busy career and family life, but I’m not sure it’s a gold standard of test prep.
