4.5 stars really! seeing the plot unfold through rachel's experience being right in the middle of it was fun and interesting to read (and at times stressful). i like the idea of only knowing what she knows although i am curious about how James felt throughout all of it!

i love the complexities of the characters and their relationships with each other and the emphasis on platonic love!!! also love the slight touch on social issues and how it affects people in very real scenarios w/o being a huge focus in the book!
