I really enjoyed this book! It isn’t something I’d typically pick up, but I gave this a chance and I’m glad I did!!
I loved Nahri and Dara. They’re both sassy and strong and stubborn!
I loved the world building and blending with the ancient one. However, I wasn’t familiar with a few terms, so had to go back and forth to the glossary quite a lot.
One thing that did confuse me was that the action towards the end of the book came out of nowhere for me, I would’ve liked to have seen a bigger, more explained build up.
Still, this was a great book and I’m excited to see where the rest of the series goes!
