I can definitely agree with people who say this is one of the best friends to lovers adult romance books out there, because it is. You can very clearly see the foundation of friendship these two have had over the years and that was one of my favorite aspects of the book. That being said, I found it difficult to connect to the couple this book followed, or even to root for them to be together in any special way beyond wanting the romance to go well. This might be because it took me quite a few months to read this, or because I was just expecting something different with their dynamic. Overall, a solid read. I'm excited for Emily Henry's next work!
